A Few Rules On Badminton Play

Are you in the heat of a badminton game and finding out that you are unsure of some of the rules of play? That is quite common in fact. When playing the game, there are a few things you may need to know.
For example, did you know that a player may not reach over the net in order to hit the shuttlecock? Many players like to do this as it would allow for a simple point. That is not a good thing, though. Instead, you want to ensure that you are playing fairly by hitting the birdie only when it comes over the net. Also, remember that you cannot touch the net during game play.

A few other notes to remember are these. The term of service is called an inning. The birdie is in play at this time. If there is a loss of service this is called a side out. The birdie changes hands at that time.
